About Makenzie & Monarch Studio Hi I’m Makenzie, a Vancouver-based hair stylist, specializing in color and cutting. With over 8 years industry experience and is dedicated to staying current on industry trends and techniques. I love educating on products, new/current goals and overall hair health. She specializes in “lived in” color and texture. Wash and wear, air dry hair for the perfect effortless look. I especially love working with each client to find the perfect cut & color, always considering a clients face shape, eye color, personality and lifestyle. Her love for clients and connections she builds are just as important as creating beautiful hair. Outside of the salon I love to spend time with my boyfriend, playing with our dogs any chance we get. I really enjoy collecting rocks/gems/crystals, any arts and crafts and obsessed with fish tanks!
